Introducing our New On Site Nutritionist and Wholistic Practitioner

I have always envisioned a multidisciplinary practice with great people hand picked and chosen, by me, to help me where I am not a master. Mel has been a long time friend and has been on a long journey of discovery in various fields, working with esteemed organisations. After much begging and pleading has decided to come and join us… Yipeee…

[Mel has helped me personally a lot with my nutrition and various other great life changing habits, and is always a constant reminder for me to just be conscious of my beautiful body.]

Mel is an IT Executive turned Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, wellness blogger, educator & motivational speaker practicing Living-Foods Functional Nutrition to people around the globe.

Like many alternative healers, Mel’s road to understanding the power of nutrition began with a personal illness and in her determination to understand the mechanisms that led to her own chronic disease, she joined the International Quantum University of Integrative Medicine. She now holds a Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Health Science, a Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Botanical Medicine. [Yoh, that’s a lot of studying!!] Mel later continued her studies to incorporate a Master of Natural Medicine, a Doctorate in Alternative Medicine and is now working towards her PhD in Natural Medicine. Doctor here we come…

“During my studies I began diligently researching the powers of nutrition and truly believe that each person has the unique capability to heal, thrive and find levels of vitality never thought possible.

The mind and the body are one entity of union and harmony and together they form the right balance in order to have health.

It is not science fiction, but something that is in our lives every day. Illness is a warning that the body sends to the mind that something in the spirit is not well. This means that healing is something within our reach…

Most people are worried about diet rather than a comfortable relationship with food. Eating is an act of relationship with food, it is there not to quench gluttony, hunger, but its function is healthy nutrition that leads to the body and spirit the right nutrients for total balance.

If we are careful to seek out and know which foods help us to fight certain diseases, we become more conscious with our body. Like breathing, or sleeping, eating is an act of the human’s primary instinct, so we must evolve to a better relationship with food”.

Mel currently focuses on facilitating an understanding of how and why the body reacts as it does in order to help her clients to understand and discern the aptitude that they have to unlock their healing potential using the keys that nutrition can provide.

WELCOME MEL. WHAT AN HONOUR TO HAVE YOU WITH US.
